Lean Manufacturing


Lean manufacturing or lean production is often referred to as ‘Lean’.  Lean is a production process that evaluates expenditure of resources that do not add value to the end customer and are therefore seen to be wasteful and are a target to be eliminated in the production process. Lean concepts can be applied to any organisation to minimise expenditure and maximise profit thus giving value to a customer for less work. Impact has experienced qualified staff that can undertake assessments of your operation and imbed an awareness of the lean approach to your staff.


Project Management


Planning and managing projects on schedule and on budget is a requirement of many private, public and third sector organisations. The Impact team has a very high degree of experience in the management of projects in all sectors including EU structural fund projects. Staff can undertake analyses of how your organisations project management methodology is applied and any weaknesses in your approach to planning and managing projects.


Cutting Waste


Waste is a direct cost to your business or organisation. Impact has an accredited programme that can identify waste within your organisation as well as train staff how to identify waste. The programme aims to train ‘internal consultants’ in the principles of Identifying, Measuring and Eliminating or Reducing all forms of waste.

 

Succession Planning

 

Succession planning is a process for identifying and developing the staff of organisations that have the potential to occupy leadership and management roles in that organisation. Succession planning assist in identifying and developing experienced and capable employees that are willing to undertake these posts as they become available.
